The relief moulded mug shows William Hogarth’s (1697-1764) ‘Midnight Modern Conversation’, a very popular subject found on mugs and jugs of this type. It has a stamped inscription for ‘Richard Turner’ of the ‘Three Sugar Loaves’ in Rickmansworth. Source/Photographer
