File:Nv-br-crater-relief.png
A shaded relief map of Nevada with an enlarged cut-out showing the location of a possible impact crater and other landmarks in the Black Rock Desert region in northwestern Nevada. A further explanation of the possible impact crater can be found at http://ian.kluft.com/blackrock/impact-crater/
Annotations were added by Ian Kluft using the GIMP graphics software package. The shaded relief map originates from a USGS image at http://wwwflag.wr.usgs.gov/USGSFlag/Data/maps/ - the USGS Flagstaff web site appears to be reorganized. Their new URL was unknown at the time of the upload. However, the same image as the USGS original citing the same source URL also appears at http://en.wikipedia.org/key/Image:Digital-elevation-map-nevada.gif
Another copy has been located at http://geology.wr.usgs.gov/docs/stateinfo/stateimages/nv_dma.gif
