File:Original TTC Rosedale Pierce Arrow Bus.jpg

Original TTC Rosedale Pierce Arrow bus.

  • Original caption: "

The only Pearce-Arrow bus that the Toronto Transportation Commission owned is out on a training run on the ROSEDALE route. Toronto's bus routes were originally numbered sequentially as they were started, but route numbers were dropped some time in the 1930s. When numbers were again used starting in 1956, the ROSEDALE bus was the only original numbered route still running, making it Toronto's oldest numbered bus route. (TTC Photo)
