File:Oyster Harbour (King 1818).jpg

The engraving was made for King's book Narrative of a Survey of the Intertropical and Western Coasts of Australia: Performed between the Years 1818 and 1822, which was published in 1825.

The original sketch is held by the Art Gallery of Western Australia, and the photograph of it, from which this digital image is derived, is held by the State Library of Western Australia. A digital image of the photograph was created by the State Library of Western Australia and is available from the Library Information Service of Western Australia (LISWA) website. The LISWA image includes an assertion of copyright 2001, but this assertion is incorrect: the image is in the public domain under both Australian and US copyright law. This digital image is a cropped version of the LISWA digital image that eliminates the incorrect copyright notice. Author The original uploader was Hesperian at English Wikipedia.
