The building is the Masonic Temple at 2 Academy Street, in w:Barre, Vermont. Its Neo-Federal entrance and Masonic temple was added in 1929 to a pre-existing Greek Revival house. Described page 10 in NRHP nomination document for the w:Barre Downtown Historic District: National Register of Historic Places Inventory-Nomination: Barre Downtown Historic District, by Miriam Trementozzi, dated June 7, 1979, published by w:National Park Service (with Masonic Temple shown in #7 of accompanying 27 photos from 1979).
