Hans Christoffer von Königsmarck was a Field-Marshall in the Swedish army who mainly built his reputation as a great commander during the 30 years war. Born in Brandenburg, Königmarck first joined the imperial army, but later swoped sides after Gustavus Adolphus arrival on German soil in 1630. He is most recognized as the one who conquered the Lesser Side of Prague, known as the Mala Strana in 1648.
We know from their correspondence that Matthaeus Merian also served Carl Gustaf Wrangel as an importer of wine and other luxury goods.
