File:Provincetown Breakwater.jpg
The breakwater, or dike, in the extreme West End of Provincetown, Massachusetts. This is next to the West End rotary, or roundabout, at the very end of Commercial Street. The breakwater extends all the way out to Wood End, which is at the southwest end of Long Point.

In the distance, above the subject's head, is Wood End Light. Long Point Light is also accessible from there, off the left side of the image.
NOTE: the trip across the breakwater takes about an hour each way, as the rocks get rougher the further out you go. Also, you should time your trip there (and back!) to avoid high tide, because a section of the breakwater gets submerged, and can have dangerous cross-currents that can sweep a person off of their feet.(Reusing this file)
