Mid Caption: Exercise COPE NORTH Guam 2013 (CN13), conducted between the 04-15 FEB 13, is a Commander Pacific Air Forces sponsored (COMPACAF), multilateral field training exercise (FTX) with the United States Air Force (USAF), Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), which will be conducted at Andersen Air Force Base (AFB). CN13 will involve a large force employment (LFE) Air Combat Exercise with Dissimilar Air Combat Training (DACT) and a Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HA/DR) exercise which will run concurrently but with separate exercise scenarios.
CN13 is designed to increase the combat readiness and interoperability of the USAF, JASDF and RAAF. The FTX focuses training on coordination and evaluation of air tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).Licensing
