File:Rona's Hill, Shetland - C. Hullmandel.jpg

Engraving by Charles Joseph Hullmandel

Original sketch by Robert Dunn

Although Robert Dunn describes the image as "a faithful delineation," I think it is fair to say that a lot of creative license has been used here - in reality, Ronas Hill is nowhere near as mountainous - it has a much more rounded shape. What appears to be a small river is actually Ronas Voe, a fairly wide fjord. Also, there is very little in the way of expanses of flat land at the sides of the voe as depicted in this image.
