Der Leuchtturm wurde im Jahr 1900 errichtet. Ab den 1910er Jahren bildete sich durch den Wind eine Düne zwischen dem Leuchtturm und dem Meer. Die Düne bewegt sich in Richtung Nordost und hat den Leuchtturm mittlerweile vollständig passiert. Von den Nebengebäuden sind nur noch lose Ziegelsteine vorhanden.
