File:S.S. Dunbrody Stranded In Avon (21589500680).jpg
With thanks to [/photos/129555378@N07/ sharon.corbet], [/photos/20727502@N00/ guliolopez], [/photos/swordscookie/ swordscookie], [/photos/16693700@N03/ Derek], [/photos/patvic67/ patrick.vickers1] and [/photos/66311327@N05/ B-59], it seems that this image (probably a later copy by Poole) shows the 1896 grounding of the SS Dunbrody on the River Avon in England. The ship was refloated during Christmas 1896, and continued to service the Waterford Steamship Company's route from Bristol to Waterford into the early 20th century.
If we can refine the location a little, we'd love to pin a location for this on the map....

Collection:Poole Photographic Studio, Waterford
Date: ca. 1901-1954 (likely a copy of an 1896 original)
