Middle Mongolian gloss. Note the words maqam (position) and istiqamad (straight) are Arabic. Folio 52 verso Uridu maqam un qajiun medekü (Finding the side of the early position). Folio 53 recto Qoyidu maqam un istiqamad medekü (Finding the straight of the late position).

Kept in the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Public domain. Manuscript Arabe 6040. Time of composition is clearly indicated as 764 AH (1362-63 AD) at the beginning of the chapter of the eras. This is the year for which the lunar tables at the very end (folios 56-57) are calculated.
