'George' is one of four similar diesels which run the bulk of the services.
Built in Leeds by Hunslet in 1992, No12 is named after George Thomas, 1st Viscount Tonypandy.
All four diesels are powered by a turbo-charged six-cylinder Rolls-Royce engine giving 319hp.
