Other versions Another version, from the same library, is at Image:Stylidium violaceum (2).jpg. It is a lower resolution, but similar to the following; Image:Stylidium violaceum (Illustrationes Florae Novae Hollandiae plate 5).jpg is a scan of the same plate, but of different provenance. It has slightly different colouring, and a looser crop. The tighter crop of this image makes it the preferable image for the purpose of illustrating the plant. On the other hand, this other image better captures the plate itself, and so is the preferable image for the purpose of illustrating the plate, e.g. in a source transcription.
