File:The Dubdi Monastery.jpg
here's the catch, there are three monasteries that claim to be the oldest...this is one of them...which is officially recognized by the government
tashiding is the other one...which was technically established as a small meditation center with the chorten in 1642...but was expand into a fully functional monastery only post 1701...1716 i think
sanga-choeling is the other monastery vying for that honour...it was established around the same time as tashiding, but as a meditation hall/centre and was expanded into a fully functional monastery only much later...around 1715-16 once again...
so...take your pick :)
