It is dedicated to the life of Kathleen Mary Thorpe, born 6 April, 1930 at Tinsley, Yorkshire, who died on 7 July, 1991 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
In addition to the window being called, 'The Love of God' it is also known as 'The Mothers' Union' window.
The dedication stone at the base of the window includes the following comment:
"These colours but a silent image show
God's fulfilling Love on Earth below, Through the Mother's love for family borne, To Mankind throughout history known, Yet onward into Ages still to dawn."Dated 1998, the artist was Richard Molineux and made by David Wasley who is a Fellow of The British Society of Master Glass Painters.
