VR changed the design to incorporate a modified roof and built 80 'V' Type in Newport in 1927-29, most with twin doors. As late as 1954-56 50 more were built as 'V' or 'VG' (standard gauge), all later reclassified 'VP'. When refitted with new bogies in the early 1960's they became 'VF's' but later they were refitted with their slower speed freight bogies and reclassified yet again 'VLBY'. |Source=[https://www.flickr.com/photos/camperdown/28611704465/ VLBY 114T] |Date=2016-04-02 03:00 |Author=[https://www.flickr.com/people/58433307@N08 Hugh Llewelyn] from Keynsham, UK |Permission= |other_versions= }} {{L... |
