Celebrating the haul of trophies won by W.B.C. Senior Four, as we thought they were. However, swordscookie doubts that they were Seniors:
"If these guys won a Maiden Fours trophy then they were not a Senior four as listed. It was possible to row above your grade at that time in the more provincial regattas, if there was no entry for the senior levels then a crew could go "pot-hunting" and gather a senior trophy against little or no opposition. However they were then forever locked into the senior grade and could no longer row "Maiden or Junior"! The big trophy in the centre rear with the seven names is most certainly not a fours trophy but this four could have been part of an eight who won it."

The gentleman seated on the left is Austin Farrell, 1872-1934, great uncle of Brendan J. Grogan. Promised Brendan that I'd upload this, and we're hoping that others in the photo can be identified. Certainly the chap seated on the right looks like an older version of the chap also seated on the right (again with Austin Farrell) in this photo from 18 May 1906.
A really young Austin Farrell appears as Cox in this photo.
Date: Circa 1915?
