MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 30, 2007) - Rear Adm. Edward Masso, commander of Navy Personnel Command, meets Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf prior to a football game between the Vikings and Green Bay Packers. Masso, a former resident of the Twin Cities, attended the game to accept a proclamation presented to the Navy declaring Sept. 30 to Oct. 7 to be Navy Week throughout the state of Minnesota. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and to increase awareness of the Navy in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
