Garmab, Firuzeh

Garmab (Persian: گرماب) is a city in Taghenkuh District of Firuzeh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Taghenkuh-e Jonubi Rural District.

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,220 in 968 households, when it was a village in Taghenkuh-e Jonubi Rural District of Nishapur County. The following census in 2011 counted 4,429 people in 1,111 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Firuzeh County. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,316 people in 1,198 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.

After the census, the village of Garmab was elevated to the status of a city.
