Hamis Kiggundu
Hamis Kiggundu (born 1984), commonly known as Ham, is an Ugandan businessman, lawyer and author. He is the CEO of the Ham Group of Companies, and has written two books Success and Failure Based on Reason and Reality (2018) and Reason as the World Masterpiece (2021). As of 2024, Kiggundu is among the richest Ugandans by networth.
Early life
Kiggundu was born in 1984 at Kalungu, Uganda, to Haruna Segawa. He had his elementary education in Masaka, and later continued at Kabojja International School in Kampala District for his high school education. He graduated from Makerere University with bachelor's degree in law.
Recognition
Museveni, in 2015 requested that Kiggundu renovate the Nakivubo Stadium. After he had donated food to journalists in Uganda, he was criticized for providing cash handouts to them. In 2018 Kiggundu's book was nominated for the year's best book under Business Motivation" at a book forum of Uganda in Kampala.
