Jersey Township is one of eleven townships in Jersey County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 10,165 and it contained 4,398 housing units.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 47.02 square miles (121.8 km), of which 47 square miles (120 km) (or 99.96%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km) (or 0.04%) is water.
