Kankakee Township, Jasper County, Indiana
Kankakee Township is one of thirteen townships in Jasper County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 913 (down from 988 at 2010) and it contained 354 housing units.
Kankakee Township was established in 1856.
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 25.97 square miles (67.3 km), of which 25.27 square miles (65.4 km) (or 97.30%) is land and 0.7 square miles (1.8 km) (or 2.70%) is water.
