Karashen

Karashen (Armenian: Քարաշեն) is a village in the Tegh Municipality of the Syunik Province in Armenia.

Demographics

The Statistical Committee of Armenia reported its population was 640 in 2010, up from 576 at the 2001 census.

It is located in the central-eastern part of the province, a short distance from the Vorotan River - a tributary of the Aras River, which, in turn, is a tributary of the Kurá - and the border with Azerbaijan.
