Geography
Karuchola is situated at 16.1666879°N 80.2279398°E. It is spread over 10.57 ha. Its mandal headquarters Edlapadu is located at 4km distance and district headquarters located at 36 km distance via Chilakaluripet highway.
Governance
Karuchola Gram panchayat is the Local self-government of the village.[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member. The village forms a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region and is under the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority.

Education
As per the Schools Information, Karuchola had 4 Schools including One Urdu schools. All the schools are under the Local self-government.
Cultural festivals
Karuchola had its own Ganesh Tirunala (Local Fair), celebrates at Ganesh Temple which is located at outskirts of the Village. It is used to refer as the auspicious day associated with religious or cultural celebration in village, particularly dedicated to Lord Ganesh. During Tirunala, various rituals, prayers and festivities are conducted to honor the divine. The People of both villages make this as a time for community gatherings and celebrations.
It celebrates annually 7th day after Maha Shivaratri. The Tirunala was started on 9 March, 1992 in the presence of Karuchola - Guttavaripalem Villagers. Since then, It had been continuously celebrating as the both villages people's common festival. The Tirunala contains Electric Prabhas (Currentu Prabhalu), The village had a Mosque which is one of the biggest Mosques in the State.
