Katul Rural District (Persian: دهستان كتول) is in the Central District of Aliabad County, Golestan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Mazraeh.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 33,729 in 7,762 households. There were 35,873 inhabitants in 10,089 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 26,732 in 7,801 households. The most populous of its 28 villages was Owdak Duji, with 2,691 people.
