Kavian
The planet HD 175541 b is called Kavian. The name was selected by Akbar Ghahri in the NameExoWorlds campaign by Iran, during the 100th anniversary of the IAU. Kaveh (name of the star HD 175541) carries a banner called Derafsh Kaviani in the Shahnameh.
Kavian (Persian: كاويان, also Romanized as Kāvīān; also known as Gābnān, Gāv Nān, and Govnān) is a village in Oshtorjan Rural District, in the Central District of Falavarjan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,795, in 495 families.
