Konary, Grójec County
Konary [kɔˈnarɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Warka, within Grójec County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Warka, 25 km (16 mi) east of Grójec, and 42 km (26 mi) south of Warsaw.
History
In 1827 Konary had a population of 393.
During the German occupation of Poland (World War II), it was the location of an Einsatzgruppen-operated penal forced labour camp.
