Kuhmareh Rural District

Kuhmareh Rural District (Persian: دهستان کوهمره) is in Kuhmareh District of Kuhchenar County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Malay-e Anbar.

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kuhmareh District of Kazerun County) was 9,356 in 2,136 households. There were 8,641 inhabitants in 2,203 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,052 in 2,102 households. The most populous of its 24 villages was Chekak, with 1,208 people.

In 2018, Kuhmareh Rural District, Somghan Rural District, Nowdan, and the city of Qaemiyeh were separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhchenar County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Qaemiyeh as its capital.
