Langwarrin Plaza Shopping Centre

Langwarrin Plaza Shopping Mall, also known as "The Plaza" is a regional shopping centre run by Knight Frank located in eastern Langwarrin, being around 43 kilometres southeast of the Melbourne central business district. The complex comprises approximately 16 stores, including parking for approximately 277 parking spaces. The centre is based on three separate buildings, however the main trisection is focused on the northern building where a Woolworths and BWS is located.

History

In December 2004 the store completed construction along with the neighbouring Ampol fuel station, with the anchor and main tenant of Safeway.

At the start of 2016 the Safeway name change was enacted in the shopping mall and fully converted to the Woolworths brand.

Retailers

Langwarrin Plaza includes a limited selection of restaurants, fast food, groceries among minor things.

Major retailers include Woolworths, Ampol, BWS, Domino's and Anytime Fitness.

It also includes minor retailers, including Subway, Australia Post, and more.

Competition

Langwarrin Plaza has two main local shopping centre competitors, Bayside Shopping Centre and Karingal Hub Shopping Centre. They all serve generally the same target populations. Note that Langwarrin Plaza is run by the same administration as The Gateway Shopping Centre and thus are not competition.
