Palmyra is a rural locality in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, Palmyra had a population of 250 people.

Amenities

The locality is dominated by motor sport venues, which include Mac's Speedway, the Palmyra Drag Racing Club and a Karting track. Mac's Speedway earned its name after the McNicholl family and the track has hosted important motorcycle speedway events, including the final of the Queensland Solo Championship, which was a qualifying round of the Speedway World Championship in 1991.
