Macherio
Macherio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,751 and an area of 3.2 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi).
The municipality of Macherio contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bareggia, Pedresse, and Belvedere.
Macherio borders the following municipalities: Triuggio, Lesmo, Sovico, Biassono, Lissone.
