Mahamadwadi Dam

Mahamadwadi Dam, (or Mohamod Wadi Dam) is an earthfill dam on Gad river near Nardave in Kankavli taluka of Sindhudurg district, in the state of Maharashtra in India.

Specifications

The height of the dam above lowest foundation is 59.33 m (194.7 ft) while the length is 1,590 m (5,220 ft). The volume content is 12,000 km (2,900 cu mi) and gross storage capacity is 93,374.00 km (22,401.61 cu mi).
