Marchaux

Marchaux (French pronunciation: [maʁʃo]) is a former commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. On 1 January 2018, it was merged into the new commune of Marchaux-Chaudefontaine.

Geography

Marchaux lies 10 km (6.2 mi) from Besançon at the edge of the forest of Chailluz.

It is 2 km (1.2 mi) from the exit from the A36 freeway.
