Matsari
Matsari (मत्सरी) is a village of Durga Bhagwati rural municipality in Rautahat District in the Narayani Zone of south-eastern Nepal. The village is situated at the bank of Bagmati river. It lies around 8 kilometers north of the district headquarters Gaur.
Bhojpuri, Bajika, and Maithili are the languages spoken in the village.

Matsari is known as the one of the educated village in nepal. Matsari it self defines the culture of hindus and hinduism. goddess durga and the temple is famous amongs the hindus community all over nepal and india. Every year in Dashain puja a big ceromany to worship maa durga conducted here various people from all the community attends the ceromany.
