Meymeh District

Meymeh District (Persian: بخش میمه) is in Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Meymeh.

After the National Census of 2006, the county was created from the division of Borkhar and Meymeh County into Borkhar County and Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County) was 21,491 in 6,286 households. The following census in 2011 counted 20,698 people in 6,533 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County. At the latest census in 2016, the district had 23,057 inhabitants in 7,641 households.
