Mohamed Sathak Engineering College (MSEC) is a privately owned, autonomous affliated engineering college established in Kilakarai in 1984. The institution was founded by Mohamed Sathak Trust, a charitable organization established in 1973 with the mission of promoting education and social development. The focus of the college is to provide quality technical education to students, particularly those from rural and economically underprivileged backgrounds in southern Tamil Nadu
