Monroe Township, Carroll County, Indiana

Monroe Township is one of fourteen townships in Carroll County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,863 (up from 2,797 at 2010) and it contained 1,287 housing units.

History

Monroe Township was organized in 1840.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.06 square miles (62.3 km), of which 24.04 square miles (62.3 km) (or 99.92%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km) (or 0.08%) is water.
