Negros Occidental National Science High School
Its old name, Negros Occidental Science High School, was changed after fulfilling the qualifications and standards of a national-level secondary school. It was announced in June 2010, official resuming of classes. Major changes were applied to the school.
History
The Negros Occidental National Science High School (NONSHS), formerly known as Negros Occidental Science High School (NOSHS), started its active curriculum in 1997. Primary school graduates take the entrance exam in order to be admitted to the school's curriculum.

Beryllus Princeps Science Club (BPSC)
The Beryllus Princeps Science Club (BPSC) is the premier science club at Negros Occidental National Science High School (NONSHS) in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Established to promote scientific inquiry and education, the club hosts various events, particularly during September, in alignment with the National Science Club Month, as declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 264. Under the guidance of advisor Madonna B. Decena and the leadership of president Angel Mae P. Jacob, the BPSC collaborates with other clubs within the school to enhance interdisciplinary learning and community engagement. Additionally, the club is a member of the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC), furthering its commitment to fostering a passion for science among students and contributing to the development of future scientists and innovators.
Gintong Hiyas
The Gintong Hiyas, serves as the Filipino club at Negros Occidental National Science High School, dedicated to promoting nationalism and patriotism through the use of the Filipino language. The club actively engages the student body in various activities, particularly during the Buwan ng Wika, a month-long celebration that encourages participation in nationalistic events and fosters appreciation for Filipino culture. Currently, the club is led by president Shanylle Grayse L. Ynayan, with guidance from advisor Lorna B. Villaester. Through its initiatives, the Gintong Hiyas Club plays a vital role in cultivating a sense of national identity and pride among students at NONSHS.
Scitamehtam
Scitamehtam, the Mathematics Club at Negros Occidental National Science High School, is dedicated to promoting effective and efficient learning in mathematics among students. Under the leadership of president Sonny D. Salumag Jr. and advised by Ruth F. Javier, the club engages members through various activities, including mathematics competitions and voluntary review sessions designed to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of the subject. The club's initiatives aim to foster a collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to develop their mathematical skills and confidence.
