Nouaillé-Maupertuis
Nouaillé-Maupertuis (French pronunciation: [nwaje mopɛʁtɥi]) is a commune in the Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in western France.
The English victory in the 1356 Battle of Poitiers was won (46.53°N 0.4°E) within the bounds of this modern commune a few kilometres southeast of Poitiers.
