Oakdale, Queensland

Oakdale is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, Oakdale had a population of 49 people.

History

The locality was officially named and bounded on 29 May 1998.

Oakdale State School opened on 10 August 1916 and closed in 1941. It was on the north-east corner of Gessler and Crownthorpe Roads (26°11′56″S 151°54′37″E / 26.1989°S 151.9102°E / -26.1989; 151.9102 (Oakdale State School (former))).

Demographics

In the 2016 census, Oakdale had a population of 56 people.

In the 2021 census, Oakdale had a population of 49 people.
