Plyeshchanitsy

Plyeshchanitsy (Belarusian: Плешчаніцы, romanizedPlieščanicy; Russian: Плещеницы, romanizedPleshchenitsy) is an urban-type settlement in Lahoysk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It is located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) to the north of Minsk. As of 2023, it has a population of 5,911.

Nature

Plyeshchanitsy has an elevation of 211 m (692 ft) above sea level. The topography of the surrounding area is relatively flat and sparsely populated. Plyeshchanitsy is the largest settlement in the area, with a population of 5,835 inhabitants.
