Poręba Wielka [pɔˈrɛmba ˈvjɛlka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Niedźwiedź, within Limanowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Niedźwiedź, 29 km (18 mi) west of Limanowa, and 51 km (32 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

The village is the cite of the Gorce National Park. Polish writer Władysław Orkan was born here.
