Port Khalid Sharjah
Port Khalid also The Port of Khalid (Arabic: ميناء خالد) is the Sharjah Ports' flagship deepwater port. It is a gateway to Sharjah and handles all of the emirate’s container traffic. The transfer of container traffic from Port Khorfakkan and Hamriyah Port was completed in 1976.
The Port of Khalid is in the heart of Sharjah city, The Port of Khalid is considered a pioneer seaport of the United Arab Emirates region, boasting the first container terminal, roll-on/roll-off cargo terminal, and free trade terminal.
