Prochoma

Prochoma (Greek: Πρόχωμα, ['pɾoxoma]) is a village and a community of the Chalkidona municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Koufalia, of which it was a municipal district. The 2021 census recorded 1,940 inhabitants in the community. The community of Prochoma covers an area of 38.537 km.

The population of Prochoma consists of Greek refugees from Pontus. The village was named Dogantzi until 1926.
