Rocquigny, Pas-de-Calais

Rocquigny (French pronunciation: [ʁɔkiɲi]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France.

Geography

Rocquigny lies about 20 miles (32 km) south of Arras, at the junction of the D19 and D20 roads. The A2 autoroute passes by some half-mile distant.

Places of interest

  • The church of Notre-Dame, rebuilt along with the rest of the village, after the First World War. It is a listed monument since 2001. The steeple, that was in a state of collapse due to faulty concrete, was restored between 2003 and 2013.
