Rural Municipality Of Bone Creek No. 108

The Rural Municipality of Bone Creek No. 108 (2016 population: 394) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 4 and SARM Division No. 3. It is located in the southwest portion of the province.

History

The RM of Bone Creek No. 108 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 11, 1911.

In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Bone Creek No. 108 recorded a population of 394 living in 111 of its 128 total private dwellings, a 15.9% change from its 2011 population of 340. With a land area of 847.16 km (327.09 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.5/km (1.2/sq mi) in 2016.

Government

The RM of Bone Creek No. 108 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month. The reeve of the RM is Mel Larson while its administrator is Lana Bavle. The RM's office is located in Shaunavon.
