The Rural Municipality of Garry No. 245 (2016 population: 364) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 9 and SARM Division No. 4.

History

The RM of Garry No. 245 incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913.

In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Garry No. 245 recorded a population of 364 living in 141 of its 146 total private dwellings, a -11.7% change from its 2011 population of 412. With a land area of 853.59 km (329.57 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km (1.1/sq mi) in 2016.

Government

The RM of Garry No. 245 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Tuesday of every month. The reeve of the RM is Allan Polegi while its administrator is Tanis Ferguson. The RM's office is located in Jedburgh.
