In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Maple Creek No. 111 had a population of 1,167 living in 341 of its 571 total private dwellings, a change of 9.8% from its 2016 population of 1,063. With a land area of 3,180.1 km (1,227.8 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km (1.0/sq mi) in 2021.
In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Maple Creek No. 111 recorded a population of 1,068 living in 320 of its 538 total private dwellings, a -7.5% change from its 2011 population of 1,154. With a land area of 3,243.33 km (1,252.26 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.3/km (0.9/sq mi) in 2016.

The RM of Maple Creek No. 111 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Thursday of every month. The reeve of the RM is Walter Ehret while its administrator is Christine Hoffman. The RM's office is located in Maple Creek.
