Sarnetki

Sarnetki [sarˈnɛtki], is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Giby, within Sejny County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the borders with Belarus and Lithuania. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Giby, 13 km (8 mi) south of Sejny, and 99 km (62 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.

From 1975-1998 the village was administratively governed by the Suwałki Voivodeship.

History

The royal village was located at the end of the 18th century in the Grodno County of the Trakai Voivodeship in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
